"Finally,
brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever
things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be
any praise, think on these things." (Philippians 4:8).
If you’re going to experience
unending victory, success and progress in life, your thoughts must be in sync
with God’s Word. God’s Word has the ability to produce in you, and for you what
it talks about. When you think on the Word as our opening verse admonishes,
ideas and pictures of success, possibilities and victory will flood your mind.
Remember, you’re the character of
your thoughts, so when your thoughts are in sync with the provisions of God’s
Word, your life will be a reflection of the Word. The Word is God’s agent of
transformation. When you continually flood your spirit with the Word, the
thoughts that come to your mind will be thoughts, opinions and ideas of the
Spirit that the ordinary mind cannot recieve.
Proverbs 23:7 says as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. You are the
character of your thoughts. This is the reason you must renew your mind
constantly with the Word. If you’d let the Word, which is all-powerful, quick
and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12) gain the mastery in
your thought processes you’ll live an extraordinary life. You’ll walk in
victory, success and dominion all through this year if you’d consciously
practice thinking the Word.
Thinking the Word means having a
mindset of the Word; having the Word as your focus! That way, your actions will
be in sync with the perfect will of God for your life. If you want to
experience success on a daily basis, you must learn to think the Word day and
night: "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but
thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do
according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way
prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success" (Joshua 1:8).
