IN GOD'S NAME:

"At that time you won't need to ask me for anything, for you can go directly to the Father and ask Him, and he will give you what you ask for because you use my name. You have not tried this before, but begin now. Ask using my name and you will receive and your cup of joy will overflow." (John 16:23-24)

If there’s anything you desire, you can put your faith to work today for a miracle. You can ask the Father in the Name of Jesus, and receive the answer. The Lord doesn’t want you sad, bitter or frustrated in life. If that has been your experience, it’s time for a change and you can make it glorious. You can create a new destiny for yourself, because God wants your joy to be full, not sometimes, but always. That is why He gave you an open invitation to ask anything in the Name of Jesus and expect answers: "For every one that asks receives..." (Matthew 7:8).

Not only is the Lord able, He’s equally willing to grant any request you make of Him. No wonder Jesus, with assurance said in Luke 11:9, "...Ask and it shall be given you...." God is a giver; He gives generously and graciously to all without holding back (James 1:5). Romans 8:32 says, "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" This describes your heavenly Father’s liberality and benevolence towards you. He doesn’t consider anything too good for you. The Bible says He gives us richly all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17).

Yours is to act on His open invitation by asking in the Name of Jesus, and receive. Jesus said in Luke 12:32 "Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom." It delights the Lord to bless you and do you good. The Scripture says that He daily loads us with benefits (Psalm 68:19).

Always remember that the Lord is interested in you; it’s always His joy to answer your prayers and grant you your heart’s desires. John 15:7 says "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." This is your assurance—abiding in Him, and His Word abiding in you—therefore whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive, and your cup of joy will overflow. Praise God!
